Sheila flew back to Vancouver yesterday and this morning I moved to Clam Bay. It is rainy and quite windy today, a good time for me to plan the routes for our Alaska trip.

I spent most of the day polishing some of the white surfaces on the boat, but took some time out to set the prawn trap. This was very worthwhile as I caught a dozen prawns, nice dinner. I am anchored now in Sibell Bay, close to Ladysmith.

Back in Vancouver

We are both in Vancouver this week, and the weather really feels like spring now with sunshine, warm air and blossoms everywhere. When I cycled around Stanley Park this morning, I saw the Kaiwo Maru in the harbour, a Japanese four mast bark in town for a festival in Richmond next weekend. Beautiful sight, though the picture is from their webpage.
