inWe hiked all around Jedidiah Island this morning and then continued South to Nanaimo. We are staying at Newcastle Island tonight and of course visited the Dinghy Dock Pub.

inBeautiful sunny day and we continued South. We are now anchored in Codfish Bay, exploring Jedediah Island by kayak, paddle board and on foot.http://map.iridium.com/m?lat=49.494250&lon=-124.190292

inWe started heading South today, and are anchored in Tribune Bay on Hornby Island now. This is a very pretty big bay, open to the South, but with enough room for all the boats that come here. There is a long sandy beach, and we did a 10 km hike to Helliwell Park as well. The weather was sunny and warm.

inSheila flew back to Vancouver today, and we came into Teakerne Arm. We had to work a bit at the anchor with a shore line as it is very deep. There is a nice waterfall here and a lake which we want to explore tomorrow. This is the place where Captain Vancouver coined the term Desolation in 1792 when he was anchored here in the rain suffering from depression. We had rain in the morning, it cleared later and we are not depressed.
